Mean spirited. Angry sound, angry visuals. A project that I formed from a drought of creating. Something I dearly miss. My Eyes Are Open is an installation exercise in how I was seeing art at the time. I have a funny relationship with film. One day I am in love and that love goes on for months and then it goes away for a bit. I see pure frustration and regret. Like a long night of being unproductive. Passion in the arts is a love hate relationship a lot of the time. This is my experience with that.
